Mastery
Directed by Nicolas Wittner, it is part of Pueri Cantores, the French Federation of Little Singers.
Following the years of pre-Master's training, the young chorister joins the group of Masters where he will continue his vocal work through more demanding musical teaching. Thus, prestigious concerts, auditions, tours, will enhance the young master's school year.
Every year, there are more of them, 78 who follow this personalized, demanding and very complete musical training - sacred and secular repertoire, vocal and instrumental technique workshop, work on the music stand and tutti, sight reading and musical training. Over these six years, students discover a repertoire of rare breadth.
Baroque with cantatas by Bach or the Midnight Mass by Charpentier; Renaissance motets with Palestrina, Byrd or Allegri, romantic with the Christmas Oratorio by Camille Saint Saens; contemporary with the Opera Le Roman de Renart by Coralie Fayolle but also works by the English Rutter or Stoppford.
The master regularly records albums with renowned ensembles. She participates every year in concerts in France and abroad, such as in Saint Albans where she had the privilege of replacing the prestigious English choir to perform an Evensong, a fully sung mass.
